Primo Space exceeds the 85 million € fundraising target and concludes 6 investments within its first year of activity

Milan, October 11, 2021- Primo Space, a venture capital fund focused on investments in the New Space Economy, has completed its first year of life, achieving significant milestones in terms of capital raising and investment operations. The fund reached a total size of 85 million Euros via the latest fundraising operations and the launch of a parallel fund dedicated to investments in Italy.

During the first year, Primo Space achieved 6 investment transactions, placing a total of 8.1 million euros of capital. The supported companies are the following ones: AIKO Space, Leaf Space,Pangea Aerospace, Astrocast and Caracol.

Finally, the most recent Primo Space investment activity, jointly with CDP Venture Capital-Fondo Italia Venture II, concerns Sidereus Space Dynamics, a Neapolitan company focused on innovative technologies for space transport. In particular, it is committed to the development of the EOS orbital launcher, exploiting the miniaturization andstandardization of parts and production processes, and aiming at a reduction in transport costs.
